Digitalization in education has become a global trend, driven by rapid technological progress and the need for flexible and accessible learning environments. The transformation of the learning environment under the influence of digital technologies initiates qualitative changes in teachers’ work, which makes it necessary to identify the psychological mechanisms of adaptation to the new conditions. Modern digital technologies aim to increase flexibility, accessibility, and effectiveness of learning, as well as improve educational outcomes. However, despite its obvious advantages, digitalization requires a rethinking of the teacher’s role in the learning environment. The introduction of digital technologies changes the nature of communication, making it more instrumental. It is particularly important to study the psychological aspects of the teacher– students interaction in a digital environment and the impact of the digital environment on the personal development of both teachers and students, as it is the teacher who guarantees the preservation of the humanistic component of education in the era of technological changes. A digital learning environment is a dynamic system constituting an expanded and technologically enriched form of the learning environment, integrating traditional components with digital resources and tools to ensure accessibility, personalization, and improved quality of education. Digital tools transform interpersonal and professional interactions, placing higher demands on the teacher’s internal resources: self-regulation, maintaining functional balance and emotional state, reflection, openness to experience, and preserving professional identity. In the context of digitalization, the personal resources of the teacher are a system-forming factor that ensures both professional effectiveness and psychological safety of the learning environment. Empirical data from recent multivariate studies confirm that teachers who use reflective strategies and proactive coping behavior demonstrate higher levels of professional well-being and job satisfaction. This practice supports psychological safety and encourages the accumulation of positive pedagogical experiences, strengthening professional identity. The teacher’s position in the digital environment goes beyond the passive use of technology: the teacher becomes a subject of designing, constructing, and implementing educational content. In conclusion, it is emphasized that the synergistic combination of the teacher’s technical competence and developed personal resources ensures the creation of a psychologically safe innovative digital learning environment that promotes sustainable professional and personal development.Downloads
